01 · What it is

Four tools, one workspace.

Every part of SanePlan lives in the same sidebar. You don't switch apps to plan your day, jot a thought, or finish a doc — you just press ⌘K and go.

01
A block editor for notes.
Headings, to-dos, callouts, code, quotes, toggles, dividers. Type with markdown shortcuts or use a slash menu — both work.
02
Nested pages in a sidebar.
Drag to reorder. Drop pages inside others to create subpages. Star the ones you live in to pin them to the top.
03
A calendar next to your notes.
Month view, click a day, type an event. Link an event to a page so jumping between today's plan and the doc is one click.
04
A command palette for everything.
Press ⌘K. Search every page name, every block, every event. Type to filter, hit Return to jump.

What you can actually do.

Block editor
Paragraph, heading 1–3, to-do, toggle, callout, code, quote, divider. Drag handles, slash menu, and markdown shortcuts.
/
Month calendar
Click a day, type, hit return. Today is highlighted. Events can be linked to any page so you can jump from a date to a doc.
T
Command palette
Fuzzy search across page names, block contents, and events. Jump to any page or open a calendar day without leaving the keyboard.
K
Wikilinks + backlinks
Type [[Page name]] to link to another page. Every page shows a backlinks panel listing where it's mentioned.
[[
Hierarchical pages
Pages can nest as deep as you want. Drag to reorder. Archive when you're done, restore when you're not.
Favorites
Pin the pages you use every day. They float to the top of the sidebar without changing your workspace order.
Templates
Start a page from a blank doc, a daily note, a meeting note, or a project brief. One keystroke, ready to type.
Code, quotes, callouts
Monospaced code blocks, quote blocks, callouts for the lines you want to remember. All keyboard-driven.
```
Inline formatting
Bold, italic, strikethrough, inline code, links. Standard shortcuts. Markdown autoformats as you type.
